At iGotYourShiftCovered, we are committed to providing a secure, professional, and collaborative environment that helps shift-based employees and organizations respond to unexpected staffing needs quickly and efficiently. Every user plays an important role in maintaining the integrity of the platform. By creating an account or using iGotYourShiftCovered, you agree to use the platform responsibly, honestly, and in accordance with all applicable workplace policies, laws, and regulations.
The platform is intended solely for legitimate work-related shift coverage and staffing communication. Users are expected to post only genuine shift coverage requests, claim only those shifts they are qualified and available to work, and communicate respectfully with coworkers, supervisors, and administrators. The platform must never be used for personal disputes, harassment, discrimination, offensive language, spam, fraudulent activities, or any purpose unrelated to emergency shift coverage and workforce communication.
To protect employee and patient privacy, users must never upload, transmit, or share sensitive personal information or confidential patient information through the platform. This includes, but is not limited to, Social Security numbers, dates of birth, Medical Record Numbers (MRNs), patient names, diagnoses, treatment information, health insurance information, payroll records, or other confidential employee or patient information. iGotYourShiftCovered is not an electronic medical record, human resources information system, or personnel database and should never be used to store or communicate such information.
Users are responsible for safeguarding their account credentials and must not share usernames or passwords with anyone. Any suspected unauthorized access or security concern should be reported immediately. iGotYourShiftCovered reserves the right to investigate suspected misuse of the platform and may remove inappropriate content, suspend accounts, or terminate access for users who violate this policy or compromise the security, reliability, or integrity of the platform.
By using iGotYourShiftCovered, users agree to conduct themselves professionally, respect the rights and privacy of others, and contribute to a workplace culture built on teamwork, accountability, and trust.
The iGotYourShiftCovered platform has been developed to empower employees by providing a simple, reliable, and secure way to request emergency shift coverage while maintaining appropriate supervisory oversight. By registering for an account, employees acknowledge that they are responsible for maintaining accurate account information and using the platform only for legitimate work-related purposes.
Employees are expected to submit shift coverage requests only when they are genuinely unable to work a scheduled shift and should provide sufficient information for coworkers and supervisors to make informed decisions. Employees claiming available shifts are responsible for ensuring they are qualified, authorized, and available to work the requested shift. Claiming a shift does not guarantee assignment, as all requests remain subject to supervisor approval in accordance with the employer's staffing policies.
Employees agree to communicate professionally through the platform and understand that all activity may be recorded for security, auditing, and operational purposes. Users are prohibited from impersonating others, creating fraudulent accounts, manipulating shift requests, or intentionally disrupting staffing operations. Employees are also responsible for protecting the confidentiality of workplace information and must never use the platform to share confidential employee records or patient information.
By continuing to use iGotYourShiftCovered, employees acknowledge that they have read, understood, and agree to comply with this agreement and all related platform policies.
Supervisors play a critical role in ensuring that emergency shift coverage requests are reviewed fairly, promptly, and consistently. Within iGotYourShiftCovered, supervisors serve as decision-makers rather than staffing coordinators. Employees initiate coverage requests and coworkers voluntarily claim available shifts, while supervisors retain final authority to approve or deny those requests based on organizational policies, staffing requirements, employee qualifications, and operational needs.
Supervisors are expected to review pending requests as quickly as reasonably possible to minimize staffing disruptions and provide timely decisions for employees. Approval or denial decisions should always be objective, consistent, and free from discrimination, favoritism, retaliation, or personal bias. Supervisors are encouraged to provide clear comments whenever additional information or clarification may benefit the employees involved.
Supervisors are also responsible for maintaining confidentiality and ensuring that information accessed through the platform is used solely for legitimate staffing purposes. They should never request or encourage employees to disclose confidential personal information or patient information through the platform. All supervisor activity may be logged to support transparency, auditing, and organizational accountability.
By accepting supervisory responsibilities within iGotYourShiftCovered, supervisors agree to exercise their authority professionally, ethically, and in a manner that supports efficient staffing while promoting fairness, respect, and teamwork throughout the organization.
